Dr.Theresia Charles Numbi is an expert in Local Content Compliance Law in mining industry, International Trade and Investment Laws. She is a lecturer at Tumaini University Dar es salaam both undergraduate and postgraduate student.
She is Currently accredited Mediator and Arbitrator, an advocate of the High Court of Tanza- nia and Subordinate Courts. Associate Fellow and a training committee member of Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators. Her area of practices involves mining, energy oil and gas, represen- tation of profit and non-profit entities and individuals in matters relating to commercial, cooperative societies, contracts, real estate, asset purchase mention in a few.
She is also a professional facilitator in Tanzania for strengthening capacity of Farmer Organi- zations (FOs), Private Forestry Associations, MSMEs, Federations, Union, and Associations to ensure they fulfil their mandate and be accountable to the member but also, they operate as a business entity.
Ms. Numbi Holds Ph.D in Law from St. Augustine University of Tanzania, LLM in International Trade and Investment Law from Western Cape and certificate in Public Management from Florida International University.
Theresia has a deep expertise including developing and review constitutions and policies of MSME’s, develop strategic documents, train leaders and members, negotiations, and market linkages. Theresia has been supporting clients with organizational development processes including strategic planning, change management, stakeholder consultations, reviews, and assessments. Theresia has worked with several farmer, private forestry organi- zations, Unions, Federation and Associations in Tanzania through different projects funded by different donors such as AGRA, LWR, SNV, USAID and Finland Embassy.
